Deepika Padukone was seen in her look from the film Chhapaak. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, who is now a social activist who works for the cause of other acid attack survivors.
Deepika keeps updating her fans about the film's progress through social media. After her magnum opus Padmaavat, Chhapaak is the next big film that the actress has taken on.
Deepika Padukone was spotted relaxing a little before the shoot began. Talking about the film Deepika had said, "Not every acid attack survivor is like Laxmi, who, despite physical pain, social shaming and ostracism, came out of the experience, stronger, even victorious. There are many who are yet to overcome the trauma. I will be meeting some of these girls in the coming weeks and be working closely with them."
Here's Deepika's full-length look from the film. The actress was spotted in a yellow salwar kameez and open hair. Some days ago, while Deepika was shooting in Janpath, Delhi, she visited a clothing store as a part of the film's shoot and was mobbed by fans.
Chhapaak also features Vikrant Massey, who portrays a social activist and Deepika's love interest. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is slated to release in January 2020.
