Speaking of her upcoming projects, Deepika Padukone, after Padmaavat, will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in a pivotal role among others.
Apart from Chhapaak, she will also share screen space with her husband Ranveer Singh in '83. This will be the first time Deepika Padukone will share the screen with Ranveer for the first time after marriage.

The movie traces India's historic victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup. It also features Saqib Saleem, Adinath Kothare, Chirag Patil, Harddy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jatin Sarna, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Dinker Sharma, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Dhairya Karwa, Nishant Dahhiya, and R. Badree in pivotal roles among others.
Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, a film based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, whereas '83 is based on India's World Cup victory. Chhappak is being hailed as the most anticipated film of the upcoming year. It is all set to release on January 10, 2020.
While Ranveer portrays the former Indian team's captain Kapil Dev, Deepika plays his wife Romi in '83. This is Ranveer and Deepika's first film together after their wedding last year.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh previously co-starred in mega-hits Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. '83 is presented by Reliance Entertainment and is scheduled to release on April 10 next year in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, turned showstopper for the fashion designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The actress looked breathtakingly beautiful in silver and white ensemble she opted to walk the ramp.
