Waterlogging is regularly reported from Sion, Kurla, Pratiksha Nagar, Byculla, Mahalaxmi, Dadar, Kings Circle, Hindmata, Ghatkopar, Bandra, Khar and Santacruz.
Vehicles make heavy weather of wading through flooded roads and some times people end up abandoning their cars on the roads too.
The downpour leads to to heavy traffic snarls.
Across Mumbai, traffic ends up crawling at a snail's pace on the major thoroughfares like Eastern Express and Western Express highways, and major north-south roads, delaying office-goers, college and school students.
Suburban train services on Western Railway, Central Railway and Harbour Line also end up running late.
Heavy rains always causes waterlogging in Mumbai and end up making cars, bikes, buses and even trains looking like boats and converting the city into Venice, though not out of choice. Here are the pictures
