Touted as the best ever Cricket World Cup final, there were tears of joy in the English camp and tears of sorrow in the New Zealand camp at the end of the match played at Lord's. The two team were inseparable after 100 overs of cricket and it took a Super Over, which was also tied, to decide the winner — England crowned champions because they hit more boundaries than New Zealand during the match.
