The late South African was sacked as skipper and banned from the game for life following his admission of guilt. The Man United footballer was known to have a short temper evident from his on-field aggression. In 1992 he was fined for spitting on a Leeds Utd fan. In 1995 he kicked a Crystal Palace fan and went on to serve two weeks in prison besides being suspended and fined.
