However, the love that Dhadak's lead pair has received across cities and on social media has left them overwhelmed. Janhvi Kapoor is moved with the youthful energy that welcomed her at each of her halts during the city tours. Ishaan, on the other hand, feels more encouraged to deliver a knockout performance.

"I didn't expect to receive so much love from the audience. I'm thankful for this and there's a sense of gratitude for what I have received so far. I just hope that I can give something back to the audience," said Janhvi Kapoor. Ishaan Khatter echoes her thoughts, and said, "Maybe, I didn't think about all of this, but it's truly overwhelming and I hope people like what they see in the film."

When asked about their memories of shooting the film, Janhvi said, "Bhawanipur, Jaipur, Udaipur and Kolkata and Mumbai… each day that I have shot at these places has been memorable. It'll be very difficult to hand-pick one day in each schedule." Ishaan added, "I think the 16 days that we shot at Udaipur were the most memorable days for me. I just loved them."
Given that the film is just a few days away from release, how are the newcomers feeling in the last leg of their promotions? "I feel more responsible towards the audience. I want to earn their love. I wouldn't say I'm nervous as that has a negative connotation, but I value everything that I have received so far," said Janhvi, while Ishaan said, "Love is always welcome because it pushes you to do better."
