Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter on July 20 completed a year in Bollywood since the release of their film Dhadak. Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are likely to team up yet again for a Karan Johar production. Those in the know say the film will be helmed by Bejoy Nambiar. He is known for his dark thrillers.
But if the industry grapevine is to be believed, it is likely to be a romantic thriller. Janhvi Kapoor also features in KJo's directorial venture, Takht. There was also buzz about Khatter and Kapoor being a twosome while shooting for Dhadak. Fans will get to see their chemistry yet again in their mentor's film.
Kriti Sanon was also clicked at her casual best by the shutterbugs. She was seen wearing co-ord culottes set, paired with white sneakers and a jacket for the outing. On the work front, Kriti will be next seen in Panipat and Arjun Patiyala.
In an exclusive interview with mid-day, Kriti Sanon said: "My knowledge of history is terrible since I have never been fond of the subject. So for me, every word about the Battle of Panipat came from Ashu sir. Not too much is documented about Parvati Bai, so the character was built by Ashu sir in the way he visualised her. We had an amazing experience of finding the character."
Kriti Sanon added: "Parvati Bai has been shown as a vaidya [physician] in the movie. I am not sure if women were even allowed to work at that time. The women characters in Ashu sir's films are strong, independent and someone who can voice their opinion. Even here, my character falls in love with Sadashivrao [Arjun Kapoor] and accompanies him to the war."
