Janhvi Kapoor and her Dhadak co-star were spotted in Juhu, Mumbai. Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have started shooting for debutant director Hardik Mehta's Roohi Afza. For the unversed, when the makers of the film announced the project earlier, they had titled the project Rooh Afza. It seems like the well-known Rooh Afza, a century-old rose concentrate, that is known to be a cooling drink, has objected to the title. Here's the first look of the film. All pictures/Yogen Shah
Though the producer of the film, Dinesh Vijan, prefers to not share the details about the change of the title, Janhvi Kapoor's fans have already started following the new one. During the weekend, Janhvi Kapoor's look from this new venture surfaced online, and the actress looks unrecognisable in this de-glam avatar. Janhvi is seen donning a brown coloured salwar-kameez, paired with a green dupatta for the shooting sequence.
Ishaan Khatter, who was last seen in Dhadak, was clicked by photographers in Juhu. Recently, Ishaan got candid in a podcast conversation with host Cyrus Broacha. On the podcast, the actor made a very unrealistic revelation to the funny man. He said that he has moved homes 17 times. Broacha was keen to know if he knew every broker in town as it was a remarkable feat, which few may have achieved. The Dhadak (2018) actor replied, "17 and counting."
Ishaan Khatter is often linked to his friend and Dhadak co-actor Janhvi Kapoor. Earlier, on a show with Anaita Shroff Adjania, he opened up about he befriended Janhvi. "The first movie we watched was 'La La Land' and then we became friends soon after," he said. Ishaan also revealed his awkward fan moment. When host Anaita Shroff asked him about the strangest place where a fan has approached him, Ishaan said: "It was in the bathroom while he was relieving himself."
Nushrat Bharucha along with Sunny Kaushal and Vijay Verma were spotted at a popular cafe in the same suburb if Mumbai. Sunny and Nushrat will be seen together in Hurdang along with Vijay Verma.
Hurdang is a love story inspired by true incidents set in 1990s Allahabad. Speaking about the cast of the film, producer Shaailesh R Singh revealed, "It's a young, restless love story from the 90s. People in 1990s were innocent and vulnerable. They didn't have the advantage of technology the way youngsters have now. There was a deep desire to fight for your cause and claim your right. Sunny, Nushrat and Vijay fit in quite naturally. Sunny and Nushrat play students coming from different ideologies and backgrounds, but a couple destined to be together. They play childhood lovers who have grown up together. Both Sunny and Nushrat bring innocent and palpable energy, naturally into the story."
