Malaika Arora was spotted outside the gym, she regularly works out at. Malaika, who feels there is no substitute for a healthy body, says being fit is her oxygen. "Fitness for me is a way of life. It is like my oxygen! Nothing else is truly yours than your own body, and there is no substitute for a healthy body. I would urge everyone to stay fit and invest at least 30 minutes each to staying fit. It doesn't take much," Malaika told IANS
Malaika Arora feels walking is a 'great overall workout in itself and has benefits beyond the physical'. Talking about her own fitness regime, she said, "Of late, Power Walk has become my snappy secret pre-workout routine. It is intense and requires a lot of stamina and energy, but yields great results. Not only does it tone up the body but also increases stamina. Apart from the right kind of exercise, it is also important to eat right"
Malaika Arora, emphasising on the importance of body fitness, said, "Your body is your temple and you should respect it. It is important to give your body some time every day no matter how busy life gets. I have always advised people to go out and get moving"
Revealing a part of her 'snappy secret pre-workout routine', Malaika Arora said, "It could be something as simple as walking every day for 30 minutes. And once you've got into the groove, even upgrade to something like Power Walk. Power Walking is a part of my snappy secret pre-workout routine. It is intense and requires a lot of stamina and energy, but yields great results. "Not only does it tone the body and give a more muscular appearance, but also increases stamina."

Recently Sophie Choudry made headlines for tweeting against the trend of recreating iconic Hindi songs. "I'm going to say it. Remaking every iconic Hindi song needs to stop," Sophie tweeted. "It was a hit phase 10 to 12 years ago and that too in the pop scene... I should know! But why are we remaking Hindi film songs for Hindi films? Has an industry known for its fabulous music become so devoid of creativity?"
