  • Braun Strowman then put on the Black Sheep mask, seemingly being convinced by Bray Wyatt, only to remove and crush it and then deliver a powerslam to Wyatt to pin him and retain the Universal title

  • The New Day defended the SmackDown tag team titles The Forgotten Sons, The Miz and John Morrison and Lucha House Party in a Fatal 4-Way Tag team match.

  • The match saw some fine moments with a high-flying manoeuvre by Lucha House Party, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison. Morrison almost had the pin on Big E but the count was broken.

  • Shortly afterwards, AJ Styles and Baron Corbin battled for the briefcase atop the ladder. But after Elias attacked Corbin with a guitar, Styles failed to cling on to the briefcase that fell into Otis' hands making him the winner in the most controversial manner at Money in the Bank.
