Sharing her experience working with John Abraham for the first time, Mrunal Thakur said in an exclusive interview with mid-day, "The shoot was a memorable experience as it marked my first trip to Mussoorie. I was excited to shoot in those cable cars. John is great fun to be with. I am so blessed to be sharing screen space with someone like him who is committed, focused and constantly on a tryst to reinvent himself."
The Independence Day release, Batla House, revolves around the controversial 2008 police encounter that shook the country. Mrunal Thakur credits director Nikkhil Advani for deftly incorporating an emotional track between the leads, thus offering a breather from the gritty tone of the film.

In an interview with IANS, John Abraham was asked if box office numbers matter to him. The actor replied: "I do not think so. Content is the hit formula of a film. If the content is good, the film will be successful. If it is bad, the film will not run. I can wear a uniform in a bad film but it will not run."
Aditi Rao Hydari was clicked in ethnic wear at the Mumbai airport. On a talk show, Aditi once said that she doesn't google herself anymore. "Once I googled myself and came across some not so pleasant images with bareback from my first movie. After that, I consciously decided to never Google myself again."
Aditi Rao Hydari is set to appear in Telugu action-thriller V. the actress will be working with Sudheer Babu, with whom she had previously worked in the Telugu romantic drama Sammohanam (2018). To be directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, V also stars Nani and Nivetha Thomas.
Ram Charan was also spotted by the shutterbugs at the Mumbai airport.
