The film Batla House attempts to unravel the truth behind the 2008 encounter with alleged terrorists that took place at Batla House in Jamia Nagar in Delhi. On September 13, 2008, a series of bomb blasts in Delhi claimed over 26 lives and injured over 133 people. An operation was conducted on September 19 by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, who raided a flat in Batla House. Two alleged terrorists, Atif Amin, and Mohammad Sajid were shot dead by the police. Certain political leaders, however, had termed the encounter as fake Re-examining the infamous encounter case, John will be seen essaying the character of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the operation.
Mrunal Thakur, who was last seen Super 30 a fortnight ago, is already ready with her next film Batla House. Mrunal Thakur in an interview with mid-day talking about her co-star John Abraham said, is great fun to be with. I am so blessed to be sharing screen space with someone like him who is committed, focused and constantly on a tryst to reinvent himself."

Kriti Kharbanda will next be seen in Chehre alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Directed by Rumi Jaffrey, the film, which also stars Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor, is slated to release on February 21, 2020. Chehre is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Ltd.
Varun Dhawan was spotted at his gym in Juhu. The actor recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Street Dancer, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi among others. The film is helmed by Remo D'souza is touted to be the biggest dance film India ever had. Produced by T - Series and is all set to hit the screens on 24th January, 2020.
After finishing shooting for Street Dancer 3D, Varun is now all set to get into a comic avatar for the remake of Coolie No.1. Varun on Tuesday took to social media and shared a BTS video in which he can be seen getting ready for his character Raju.
