    Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut protested near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj so the government would declare unseasonal rain in Maharashtra as a natural calamity. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Raut exuded confidence that a government will be formed in Maharashtra by the first week of December and its Chief Minister will be from Shiv Sena. He also said that uncertainty over government formation will be over by noon on Thursday.

During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Kher contested on a BJP ticket from the Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency and registered her second consecutive victory.
