Within days of the Uri attack, Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has threatened Pakistani actors and artists to leave India within 48 hours.

The threat comes from Amey Khopkar of MNS Chitrapat Sena who was quoted saying, "We give a 48 hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or MNS will push them out."
The Mumbai Police served a notice to the MNS under Section 149 of the CrPC (to prevent cognisable offences) for its threat against Pakistani artistes.
