Pranutan, who comes from an academically-driven background, made her first working tour to Kashmir with the film's crew, which filled her with the positive aura and energy that the place has. Pranutan was enthralled to witness the heaven-like view of Kashmir.
Talking about Kashmir Pranutan Bahl said, "I was bowled over not just by the beauty of the place, but also by the people who are extremely caring and hospitable. In October, we did a workshop for 10 days with kids and other members of the cast. We connected on another level. The Kashmiri actors would go out of their way to give me cues, help me out, and do the scenes. I think there was a lot of positive energy for the film."
Talking about his character in Notebook, Zaheer Iqbal shared, "So my character in the film Notebook, Kabir, is completely different from the way I am in real life. Kabir is not very confident, he is not very outgoing. He is more like an introvert person and I think these characteristics can be seen in a person's body language very easily. (sic)"
Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan-starrer Notebook will treat you with some heavenly visions as the film is majorly shot in Kashmir. Set in the late 2000s in Kashmir, the film focuses on a school in the middle of a lake. For shooting the same, the makers erected a floating set that stood amid water.
