Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat placed a wreath on the coffin amid cries of 'Shaheed Dhoundiyal Amar Rahein' and 'Vande Mataram'

    Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal sustained gunshot wounds in his neck and abdomen during the encounter with Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in the Pinglan area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. He along wth three other martyr's were provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 Base Hospital, but succumbed to their injuries
