Ever since the first picture of Taimur Ali Khan made its way on social media, he has become a sensation. It's not just his fans, but also paparazzi who can't get enough of him! Every appearance made by Taimur has been captured with loads of love, and the tiny tot waving back to paparazzi on his roll call goes viral within no time.
A lot of time Taimur Ali Khan, who is still clueless about the photographs and videos, was also spotted correcting the paparazzi about his name. One such video, where Taimur responded to one of the paparazzi on calling Taimur left the entire world in awe of him. Well, what can we say, he is one such ball of cuteness. Time and again, Kareena Kapoor Khan was questioned about her motherhood - be it good or bad, but the actress had an amazing comeback. In one such interview, where Kareena Kapoor Khan started working again post-pregnancy, the actress was not only mom-shamed but also trolled for her fashion.
Kareena Kapoor Khan made her comeback with Rhea Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding, which also had Swara Bhasker, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles among the others. During the trailer launch of her film, where Taimur Ali Khan was 17-months-old, was trolled for not following mother-appropriate fashion for an event.
The actress said: "One should wear what they look good in. I don't know what's motherly dressing. My mom [Babita] wears modern clothes, she looks fabulous in jeans and a top. Have you seen my mother-in-law [Sharmila Tagore]? She looks gorgeous in a pair of jeans and a shirt, just as much as she does in a silk saree. I come from a world where women wear what they want to. Just because I have had a baby doesn't mean I can't wear a short dress. If you have the confidence and the body to pull off something, wear it by all means."
Kareena Kapoor Khan admitted this isn't the first time she has been scrutinized by social media users. "When I was pregnant, there was so much talk about me being up and about. People need to let women embrace the various phases of their lives." Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has spent 18 years in the industry, is glad that female actors today refuse to kowtow to unrealistic expectations. "Earlier, the mindset of Indian actresses was that they had to look 25, no matter what their age is. We don't succumb to those pressures anymore. Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Alia Bhatt are breaking these barriers. We won't be rattled any longer by who is saying what."
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has been considered as a hands-on mom is often asked about parenting techniques. Her juggle between her glamorous life and being a parent is commendable. Sharing her experience of parenthood, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in an interview with mid-day, "My husband isn't a businessman who comes home at 6 pm. He is an actor too, and between us, we must balance our time out for Taimur. We have decided we'll do one film each — I did Veere Di Wedding, now he is doing Navdeep's [Singh] film. After he finishes his commitments by November, I will start my next. So, I can kick it off in January."
Kareena Kapoor Khan also stated, "My family, my son, my husband - they are the most important things for me. I love being a mother as much as I love my work. I want to ace that balancing act and be an example for others. I was told that I won't get films after marriage. I changed that. Even if this [doing fewer films] turns out to be a mistake, I'm okay with it. I have no regrets about the path I have chosen."
Initially, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were a bit worried about Taimur Ali Khan being papped time and again. The actors have also stated that they want their Junior Nawab to lead a normal life, just like any other kid, who enjoys playing sports, going out, roaming around the city, without being clicked so often. But they have also accepted the fact that this little toddler has a huge number of a fan base, who cherish his images.
Taking about the same, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in an interview, "Now I do not like the fact that Taimur's every move is monitored... and people even talking about his hairstyle and all. I do not know how to control it now. Having said that I think he is becoming more familiar with the camera now, he looks right into the camera."
Saif Ali said on son Taimur Ali Khan's social media stardom, "If he grows up to be like me, I think at some point, the poor chap will wish no one was watching him. Taimur is rather delectable, so I don't blame anyone. It's a price he has to pay for it."
It's not just Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan who are worried about Taimur's growing stardom. Though father Saif Ali Khan has accepted that his year-old son Taimur will always attract media attention, the tot's grandfather, Randhir Kapoor, is troubled by the lack of privacy for children of celebrities. Arguing that his grandson has the right to a "normal childhood", the veteran talked about his own upbringing.
"Our parents ensured that we live a normal life. We knew that our father [Raj Kapoor] was an important and celebrated man. But, that's it. It did not affect our childhood. We were never allowed to go to the studio, except on a Sunday," said Randhir Kapoor in an old interview with mid-day.
Stating that his generation also ensured that their children lead a lifestyle far distanced from the limelight, he added, "We gave a normal life to our children. So, my grandkids also have the right to a regular childhood. But, that seems unlikely."
"I see my family's photos in the papers every day. They are tagged, 'gym look', or 'airport look'," said Randhir. The actor further added, "It's really sad to be hounded by photographers all the time. They are stationed 24/7 below Taimur's home, and at Kareena's gym. We are normal people and need our privacy. It's not good for children to go through this."
Taimur Ali Khan - inspired doll had also become the talk of the town a few days before, and everyone is surprised to see the toddler's doll on sale in a toy shop in Kerala. When his actor-mother Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about her reaction after knowing about dolls modelled on her son, she was clueless.
Kareena Kapoor Khan said, "It's as tough on him as it is on Saif and me. Taimur can't run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what I was supposed to say. The actress further added: "But Saif pointed out that it's because people love him so much, such things are a blessing for him. There is so much of genuine warmth for our son that it's bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But they should understand that he's just a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the paparazzi to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point."

In terms of over-duty, she gets paid 1.75 lakhs, along with foreign tours with the kid and family. A source further informed the portal saying, "Taimur's nanny draws a basic salary of Rs 1.5 lakh a month. It can go up to Rs 1.75 lakh depending on the extra hours she's spent at his home. There is an over-time fee for every extra hour spent with the child. Plus, she has a car at her disposal to take the child in and around Bandra."
It is said that mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan and family found this trustworthy nanny through a high-profile agency in Juhu that recruits domestic help for celebrities. The report also said that a thorough check of the staff's background is done. From medical to financial history, everything is scanned through. A police verification of all their documents is done by the agency so that there is no stress on the parents.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had celebrated Taimur's first birthday at the Pataudi Palace. Aunt Karisma, grandfather Karan Kapoor, and everyone were present at the Palace in Haryana for the special day. He was born on December 20. Proud parents Saif and Kareena wanted to ensure that Taimur remains attached to his roots and hence had planned on bringing his first birthday at their ancestral Pataudi Palace in Haryana.
