Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Sabnis: The couple met while shooting for a Marathi movie Navri Mile Navryala (1984), which Sachin was directing. They eventually got married in 1985. Supriya was 18 years old when she married Sachin. The duo is still considered as one of the most successful pairs in Marathi cinema. Incidentally, their birthdays are one day apart, with Sachin Pilgaonkar's birthday on August 17 and Supriya Pilgaonkar's on August 16.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan: After 13 years of being married to first love Amrita Singh, and then dating Rosa Catalano for three years post his divorce, Saif and Kareena began seeing each other in 2007. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh: This pair has acted with each other in many films in the 70s, and their romance blossomed during this phase. They finally got married in January 1980. Among their successful films were Khel Khel Mein (1975), Kabhie Kabhie (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), and Doosra Aadmi (1977). Neetu recently starred with Rishi in Do Dooni Char (2010) and their son Ranbir Kapoor's film Besharam (2013).
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan: The two tied the knot in 1973, the same year Amitabh's 'angry young man' image took the nation by storm in Zanjeer (1973). The real-life pair starred in a number of successful films opposite each other like Abhimaan (1973), Mili (1975), Chupke Chupke (1975), Sholay (1975) and more recently Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) to name a few.

Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt: Their romance was totally filmy, and became the stuff of folklore. Dutt saved Nargis from a fire that engulfed the sets during the shoot of Mother India (1957), and what followed was love. The two tied the knot in 1958. Sadly, Nargis lost her battle to cancer in 1981, while Sunil Dutt died of a heart attack in 2005.
Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali: Mithun and Yogeeta, who was briefly married to Kishore Kumar, tied the knot in 1979 and went on to star in a few films, namely Khwab (1980), Unees Bees (1980), Beshaque (1981), and Aakhri Badla (1990).
Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak: After a marriage with Neelima Azeem (Shahid Kapoor's mother), which lasted nine years, Pankaj tied the knot with fellow actor Supriya in 1986. Their relationship has been going strong since. The couple starred together in the 2007 critically-acclaimed film Dharm.
