Allu Arjun's last release was Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, an action-thriller in which he portrayed an Indian soldier with anger management issues. The film was directed by Vakkantham Vamsi and is currently enjoying a successful run at the box-office. After the birth of daughter Arha in November 2016, Allu Arjun took to Twitter to share her name on Christmas the following month, with the following tweet, "Our newly-arrived angel Allu Arha. Hindu meaning: Lord Shiva. Islamic meaning: calm and serene (sic)"
