Vicky Kaushal has interesting movies on his play post, Lust Stories and Uri. The actor will be playing freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh in a biopic helmed by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar. The film is a biopic of the revolutionary Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India in 1940, to avenge the 1919 massacre.
Vicky will also be seen in Bhanu Pratap Singh-directed thriller, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship, that revolves around supernatural occurrences aboard a deserted ship. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and is set to release on February 21, 2020.

Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in Karan Johar's historical drama Takht. The film is based in the Mughal era and chronicles the story of two warring brothers. It features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

Vicky Kaushal talking about Takht said, "We will begin Takht in February, preparations of which are on in full force. Before that, I will finish Udham Singh and then I will go for Takht," Kaushal told the reporters. "I am very excited. It is a big film with a huge cast. I am very excited for when we will come in one frame and act. We are all very happy and am waiting for it to start."
