At Ramniwas Bajaj English High School, learning goes beyond textbooks — it’s about inspiring curiosity, creativity, and independent thought. We envision classrooms as vibrant spaces where every child feels motivated to explore ideas, question deeply, and connect learning to real life.
The Vision
Classrooms should be lively spaces where students are inspired to think critically and independently—not just memorize. The goal is to make learning meaningful, engaging, and connected to real life.
At Ramniwas Bajaj English High School we believe that values and good behaviour are best nurtured through recognition and encouragement rather than reprimand. When children experience joy in doing what’s right, positive behaviour becomes a natural part of who they are.
To strengthen this culture, we’ve introduced Reward Coupons — a simple but meaningful way to appreciate students who display kindness, responsibility, teamwork, honesty, or initiative. These coupons are handed out by teachers who witness students making good choices, showing leadership, responsibility, independence in class.
The coupons have interesting and exciting rewards like – sporting any hairstyle, shoes or a casual outfit for a day, choosing the Sports game, gaining 5 minutes of extra break time, exempted from homework, even getting a canteen treat from the Principal and many more!
Each coupon becomes a symbol of trust, respect, and acknowledgment — reinforcing that good behaviour always counts.
Alongside behavioural rewards, we’ve also created The Spotify Project, an initiative that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Students who demonstrate higher-order thinking or unique insights during class receive a Spotify Coupon — their special pass to visit the Principal’s office, request a favourite song on Spotify, and enjoy a few minutes of well-deserved celebration.
This small but joyful ritual links positive behaviour and intellectual effort with a moment of music, applause, and shared happiness.
The Pandora’s Box – Turning Feelings into Reflection
Emotional expression is an essential part of growing up. Children often experience frustration, disagreement, or disappointment but may not always know how to express these emotions constructively – sometimes leading to graffiti on the school walls. To guide them towards healthier emotional release, our school introduced The Pandora’s Box Project — a thoughtful initiative that channels negative emotions into meaningful reflection.
Students can drop in their grievances — anonymously or with their names — into the box. Each note is read carefully, and if a response is needed, it is thoughtfully addressed and pinned up on a special board in the corridor.
This simple yet powerful project is rooted in the principles of writing therapy, encouraging students to process emotions through words. It has not only helped reduce negative expressions in informal spaces but also strengthened trust, communication, and emotional well-being in the school community.
The Bigger Picture
Through these initiatives, our school aims to build a community that values empathy, reflection, and effort. Students learn that their actions — whether through kind words, thoughtful questions, or creative ideas — have the power to uplift others and make learning meaningful.
Because when we celebrate good behaviour, we aren’t just rewarding actions — We’re nurturing character, confidence, and the joy of being good.
