Debris Of Missing IAF Aircraft Traced In Bay Of Bengal, Discovered After 7 Years

The Indian Air Force's An-32 aircraft, which went missing over the Bay of Bengal in 2016, has been discovered seven years later. On July 22, 2016, the airplane had inexplicably disappeared over the Bay of Bengal, carrying 29 people. The airplane search and rescue operation grew to be one of India's largest. On August 1, 2016, it was discovered that the aircraft lacked an underwater location beacon, and the rescue effort was called off on September 15, 2016. The National Institute of Ocean Technology employed an AUV to identify a missing aircraft on the seabed about 310 kilometers off the coast of Chennai. The search was carried out at a depth of 3400 m with various payloads. The search images were scrutinized and found to be conforming with an An-32 aircraft.

Moreover, the state has suffered a loss of more than 7,500 crores, as per the govt reports.

Haider was arrested on July 4 for illegally entering India without a visa, while Meena was put behind bars for sheltering the illegal immigrants. However, they were both granted bail by a local court on July 7 and have been living together with her four children in a house in the Rabupura area.

The dedicated teams deployed by the Baramulla Police consist of experienced officers and undercover agents who will discreetly gather intelligence on the drug mafia's operations, networks, and supply chains.

Four boys washed away at Juhu Koliwada; two bodies found, search operations on

Four minor boys aged between 12 and 16 were feared drowned after five children who were sitting on the edge of the jetty at Juhu Koliwada, near Juhu beach, were washed away in a high tide on Monday evening. According to civic body officials, the minors hailed from Vakola and were on a visit to the beach. Officials also said that one boy was rescued by local fishermen and other residents. The rescued boy is said in a stable condition and was taken to the police station for further investigations. Authorities in Mumbai on Tuesday said that the rescuers have found the bodies of two of the four boys. Coastguard chopper was seen while the rescue operation for remaining two boys is still ongoing.
