IPL changes venue after court debars matches in drought-hit Maharashtra

Indian Premier League (IPL) Chairman Rajeev Shukla said that Visakhapatnam would be the neutral venue for Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants. This decision came to the fore after Bombay High Court on April 13 ordered the IPL to shift all remaining matches of its ongoing ninth season scheduled after April 30 out of drought-hit Maharashtra in view of severe water crisis.
