Maggi masala fails 'ash content' test

Nestle Maggi masala has failed a laboratory test in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. According to tests conducted by Lucknow-based state-owned laboratory, ash content in Maggi Masala was found to be 1.85 per cent, which is higher than the permissible limit of one percent.
