Mumbaikars step out to beaches amid showers in city

Parts of city and suburbs continued to witness heavy showers at regular intervals on Sunday

Taking advantage of the pleasant weather, many Mumbaikars stepped out to visit the city’s beaches

The rainfall, which began in the early hours of the morning, intensified for a brief period by evening in several areas of the city

Mumbai and its suburbs were expected to witness a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light to moderate spells of rains, the weather dept predicted

Tidal activity for the day included a low tide of height 2.35 meters at 1.43 pm, followed by a high tide at 7.02 pm, measuring 3.43 meters
