Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis launched the Abhijat Marathi OTT app, a first-of-its-kind free platform dedicated exclusively to Marathi content. The event, attended by Hon. Minister Uday Samant, cultural visionary Kedar Joshi, and other dignitaries, symbolized the state's growing emphasis on promoting language and culture through technology.
During his speech, Hon. CM Devendra Fadnavis underlined the importance of this digital initiative, saying:
"This app is not just about entertainment. It is about preserving Marathi heritage, creating new opportunities for our artists, and ensuring that our language thrives in the digital world. Abhijat OTT will be a beacon for Marathi culture across the globe."
The CM's active involvement has given the platform credibility and visibility, ensuring that it will reach every corner of Maharashtra and beyond. By being free to download and accessible on all devices, the app eliminates barriers that usually prevent people from engaging with cultural content.
Hon. Minister Uday Samant called the CM's leadership "visionary," stating:

The platform is expected to host a wide variety of films, theatre productions, music, and cultural shows, catering to both traditionalists and modern audiences.
