Ahead of its much-awaited release, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 has been cleared by the CBFC with an A rating, but only after making as many as 21 changes in the final cut. As per the official list leaked online, about 1 minute and 34 seconds of visuals have been removed, along with several other modifications. A separate slate reading "This film includes disturbing content, and viewer discretion is strongly recommended" has been added. Similarly, a separate slate for drug disclaimer as well as a static drug disclaimer for the visuals of drugs, was inserted.

The main title of the film was inserted as mentioned in the official application.
The text was rectified by replacing the word 'Lahore' with 'Delhi' in the information text. Similarly, the entire script was corrected as per the visuals, dialogues and lyrics of the film and suggested modifications.
The length of the end credits was reduced by 1 minute.
An Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) certificate was submitted for the visuals of animals in the film.
