It is Marathi historical fact film directed by V. Shantaram. The story was based on Hari Narayan Apte's literary classic novel "Gad Ala Pan Sinha Gela" (I Won The Fort But Lost A Lion). Apte was a famous Marathi novelist of the early twentieth century.

Raja Shivaji (upcoming)
Raja Shivaji is a historical action film directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who will also play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the movie. The film follows the journey of young Shivaji, who rebelled against mighty powers and went on to become the revered Raja Shivaji.
Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat (Upcoming)
It is an unreleased Indian Marathi-language period drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Vaseem Qureshi under the banner of Qureshi Productions. Akshay Kumar will play the Maratha king. This will also mark his first Marathi film
