HBO recently announced that the production on one of its much-awaited television adaptations of Harry Potter has finally commenced. Revealing the first look from the sets, they released a photo featuring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, looking adorable in the classic Hogwarts attire with round spectacles and the familiar lightning-shaped scar. They also announced four new cast members in addition to the others announced in June 2025. Here's all the cast we know so far.

Game of Thrones actor Anton Lesser will feature in the new Harry Potter TV series, wherein he will portray wandmaker and Ollivander's wand shop owner Garrick Ollivander.

Dominic McLaughlin will be playing Harry Potter. In the recent post shared by HBO, he is seen donning the signature Hogwarts uniform paired with round-rim glasses and a lightning bolt scar.
Amos Kitson is a British actor who will be seen portraying the role of Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter television series.
British actor Johnny Flynn has joined the cast of HBO's Harry Potter series as Lucius Malfoy.
Leo Earley is an Irish child actor who portrays Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter television series. He was also seen on the Late Late Toy Show.
