Atlee and Priya tied the knot on November 9, 2014, and their love story is nothing short of fairytale. 

While Atlee geared up for his directorial debut, Raja Rani, Priya was a part of television shows. They were striving to carve a niche for themselves in the industry.

At that moment, they met for the first time through their common friends.Soon, they became close friends and fell in love with each other shortly.

Although Atlee’s debut took time to launch, Priya remained a supportive friend, standing by him through the early days of his career. 

When Atlee was enjoying the success of his debut film, Raja Rani, Krishna Priya’s parents were searching for a suitable boy for their daughter. 

The actress told Atlee about it, and the filmmaker indirectly proposed to her in the most filmy way. 

Atlee jokingly said to Krishna, “Why don’t you show my horoscope to them?”. After Priya went home, she thought about getting married to Atlee and asked him, “What made you say so?”

In response to it, Atlee said, “I just said what I felt. If you are interested I shall come and talk to your family.” It was at that moment Priya realized her love for the filmmaker.

Both families agreed to the decision, and on November 9, 2014, Atlee and Krishna Priya got married in a traditional wedding.

The couple embraced parenthood when they welcomed a baby boy after 8 years of their marriage on January 31, 2023. 

On the professional front, Atlee is gearing up to direct the much-anticipated film tentatively titled AA22xA6, starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.

With a high-profile cast and an ambitious concept, the film is expected to be one of the most awaited releases in Kollywood.

The couple today announced second pregnancy and wrote, "Our home is about to get even cozier with the addition of our newest member! Yes! We are pregnant again. Need all your blessings, love, and prayers."
