Mumbai's Catholic community is observing All Saints' Day on November 1 and All Souls' Day on November 2 this weekend

As people get ready for the day, several of them were seen cleaning and decorating the graves of their loved ones with flowers and candles in Bandra

While some were holding personal or family remembrance rituals like lighting a memorial candles at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, there were others who were spotted at St. Andrew's Church too

While locals were seen in the suburb, many other Mumbaikars will also be carrying out the ritual in churches across the city including Sion, Santacruz, Thane and Vasai too among others

While All Souls' Day is observed in India, and Mumbai, it coincides with Day of the Dead, a festival observed by Mexicans around the world, to pay their respects to the dead
