As the rain poured down on the city on Monday, Mumbaikars across the city set out to go to work but not without having to deal with civic issues as many set out of Bandra East railway station to find transport, a task especially during the monsoon
With the rain starting early, the road outside Bandra East railway station where the rickshaws usually park was flooded, making it difficult for people to get transport to their offices in Kala Nagar and surrounding areas
While it is usually disorganised, it gets worse when it rains as people run helter skelter for cover, even as the rickshaw line to Bandra Kurla complex has a designated spot, others face an issue
It is even more dangerous for commuters as the uneven road near the railway station may lead to people slipping and falling during the monsoon season
It was no different on the Churchgate-end bridge, where the chaos was even more than usual for people to get a share rickshaw to their destination
