The mortal remains of Aparna Mahadik, a cabin crew member of the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, were brought to Mumbai. The senior Air India cabin crew member was described as a brave and open-minded woman by her relative and NCP leader Sunil Tatkare
"She always kept the family together. Her presence brought strength and warmth to those around her,” said Tatkare. Mahadik was the daughter-in-law of Tatkare's younger sister
