Suyog Warde, a resident of Goregaon, purchased a 'mooshak (mouse)' for Rs 38,000 on behalf of his uncle Anil Mhatre. Speaking to mid-day.com, Warde said, "My uncle told me to get the mooshak from Lalbaugcha Raja at any cost and I bought it at the auction"

Mulund resident Nagesh Desai was the first to win the bid for a Ganpati idol at the auction. The bidding started at Rs 5,000, and he bought the idol for Rs 50,000. "I wanted to make the first purchase at the auction at any cost. The bidding started at Rs 5,000, and I offered Rs 50,000 for the idol, Desai told mid-day.com"
