The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) on Friday announced the results of the “Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Clean and Beautiful Bus Stand Campaign"
Maharashtra Transport Minister and MSRTC Chairman Pratap Sarnaik said that the campaign has led to measurable improvements in the upkeep and management of bus stands
The MSRTC said a total prize pool of Rs 3 crore will be awarded to 54 bus stands across Maharashtra that performed well in the annual assessment
A prize distribution ceremony will be held in Mumbai on June 1, coinciding with the 78th Foundation Day of the State Transport Corporation
The campaign assessed bus stands on multiple parameters, including cleanliness, toilet maintenance, beautification, greenery development, passenger amenities, and employee participation
