Signalling a potential political churn in West Bengal, long dominated by TMC's Mamata Banerjee, the BJP crossed the halfway mark on Monday, leading in 193 assembly seats against the TMC's 94 as counting progressed, according to Election Commission data
Apart from the BJP and TMC, the Aam Janata Unnayan Party of Humayun Kabir was ahead in two seats, and the Congress, CPI(M) and All Indian Secular Front (AISF) in one each, according to the Election Commission
