During this 85-day period, all train operations from platforms 16 and 17 will remain suspended

Railway officials said the block is necessary to complete foundational work and other essential construction activities

Once the redevelopment work is completed, the platforms will be handed back to Central Railway for regular traffic operations

Central Railway has appealed to passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and bear with the administration for the temporary inconvenience caused
