The bus service is named after Jijabai, widely respected for her role in shaping the life and values of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Officials said the name reflects the state’s effort to connect modern development with Maharashtra’s rich cultural and historical heritage
The service was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
The event featured traditional drum performances and cultural displays, creating a festive atmosphere to mark the beginning of the new transport initiative
