Several devotees were seen visiting BMC artificial ponds in Borivali (West) – Pepsi Ground in Gorai and Arun Kumar Vaidya Ground on LT Road on Thursday

Large numbers of devotees from nearby areas gathered to immerse their household Ganesh idols at these eco-friendly locations

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made special arrangements to ensure a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible immersion process

Volunteers and civic staff were present to assist the devotees and manage the crowd

Safety measures have also been planned extensively by the Mumbai civic body and the city police across Mumbai

No untoward incidents were reported during the immersion process, said the officials
