Addressing the gathering, Shinde stressed the importance of unity between the Marathi and Sindhi communities in Ulhasnagar

He said the relationship between the two communities was strong and harmonious

Shinde noted that several infrastructure projects were implemented with the support of MP Dr Shrikant Shinde, including a super-speciality cashless hospital, improvements in transport services, drainage lines under the AMRUT scheme, water supply projects, roads, gardens and playgrounds

Speaking about housing safety, Shinde said that all dangerous buildings in Ulhasnagar would be redeveloped through cluster development

He assured residents that they would be provided with safe and well-equipped homes, and said the Shiv Sena works for development rather than power
