The incident prompted the temporary evacuation of around 250 people, including patients, doctors and hospital staff, officials said

The Mumbai Fire Brigade told the PTI that the blaze was confined to electrical wiring and installations within the CT-MRI unit of the medical facility

As a precaution, approximately 250 people, including patients, doctors and other staff members, were evacuated from the hospital premises to ensure their safety

Firefighters brought the situation under control, and the fire was completely extinguished by 3 pm, officials said

No injuries were reported in the incident, officials said
