The blaze was reported in a car at around 8:15 am at a vehicle showroom located in the Ashar Compound area, civic officials said
Fire brigade teams, along with disaster management staff and showroom employees, worked together to control the blaze
The fire caused extensive damage to the vehicle, which was completely burnt. However, no injuries were reported in this incident either
According to the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), the situation was brought under control and further investigation was underway to determine the exact cause of the fire
