The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a generally cloudy sky with moderate to heavy rainfall at isolated places across the city and suburbs on Thursday

The civic officials said that city was likely to witness a high tide of 4.27 meters at 11:01 am, followed by a low tide of 1.59 meters at 5:04 pm on Thursday

Mumbai civic authorities advised citizens to remain cautious during high tide hours

Another high tide of 3.74 meters was expected at 10:57 pm, while a low tide of 0.67 meters was expected at 5 am on Friday, August 22

Parts of the Mumbai experienced light rains after heavy downpour that continued for days earlier this week
