Mumbai is set to observe the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on Saturday, December 6, 2025

To ensure law and order during the occasion, the Mumbai Police have made extensive arrangements under the guidance of senior police officials, the police said on Friday

A total of 492 officers and 4,640 police personnel will be deployed across key locations, supported by Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) platoons, Quick Response Teams (QRC), crowd control units, Delta and Compact squads, BDS units, and Home Guards

Police have advised citizens to cooperate at crowded areas, maintain patience, and report any unattended or suspicious items immediately. In case of emergencies, people are urged to contact the police helpline numbers 107 or 112
