The outlets are located in Vile Parle West, Borivali West and R-City Mall, Ghatkopar West
The FDA cited violations of provisions under Schedule 4 of the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011
At the Vile Parle outlet, inspectors reportedly found shortcomings involving the display of the FSSAI licence, potable water testing, food storage, pest control and hygiene facilities
The FDA also directed the establishment to ensure proper temperature control for frozen food, improve kitchen sanitation, separate food and non-food materials, prevent rodent and pest entry, and provide appropriate hand-washing and hygiene facilities
At the Borivali outlet, the department reported a 54 per cent non-compliance score, with deficiencies in food storage, temperature monitoring, testing, sanitation and pest control
At the R-City Mall outlet, the FDA reported deficiencies in cleaning and sanitation schedules, pest control records, FIFO/FEFO food rotation, temperature control, food-grade documentation, food-handler hygiene records, calibration and food and water testing records
