Huge crowds of shoppers are seen buying traditional clothes, jewellery, and decorations at a Borivali market, bringing alive the festive spirit across the city.

Many families are also purchasing items for home decorations

The market was seen crowded with people looking for chaniya cholis, kurta-pyjamas, colourful bangles, and other festive wear

Navratri, which will begin on Monday, September 22, is celebrated over nine days in honour of the Goddess Durga

Each day has a different colour, and many people dress accordingly during the 9-day festival

With just a day to go, Mumbaikars were on Sunday seen soaking in the festive mood, making last-minute purchases and preparations

The civic authorities has also made elaborate preparations in parts of Mumbai for the festival
