The induction of 1,290 modern vehicles is aimed at improving patrolling

The goal is to ensure faster response times and enhancing the overall efficiency of police stations across the city, sources said

They said that the induction of new hi-tech vehicles will strengthen the force’s people-centric response and on-ground readiness

Sources said that the new fleet would strengthen patrolling operations and improve mobility in congested urban areas

The new vehicles would be deployed across various divisions to support emergency response, crime prevention and regular patrolling duties
