The officials has decided to shift the Dahisar Toll Naka by November 8

Officials said the shift will help ease traffic flow between Mumbai and the neighbouring suburbs, especially during peak hours

The new toll collection point is expected to be located further ahead to reduce the pressure at the city’s entry point

In his letter to the Deputy CM Shinde, Sarnaik had highlighted the rapid urbanisation of Mira-Bhayandar, which now has a population of around 1.5 million

The toll plaza not only causes financial strain but also results in a waste of time, with commuters reportedly spending 30 minutes or more in traffic every day, Sarnaik had mentioned in his letter
