The tree fell on the taxi, which was standing near it. The taxi was very heavily damaged, and the driver sitting inside it somehow managed to escape.
The taxi driver sustained injuries after the tree collapsed onto his vehicle in Dadar (West).
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the incident occurred at around 10:08 am on L J Road, near Shobha Hotel, in the Shivaji Park area in Dadar (West).
Hospital officials identified the injured taxi driver as Salman Khan, 35, who has been admitted for further medical care.
