Five PETA India supporters wearing pigeon masks took part in the protest in south Mumbai

The protest was held near Hutatma Chowk at Flora Fountain

They wore geometric pigeon masks and dressed as typical Mumbaikars, including an auto-rickshaw driver, a Bollywood fan, an office worker, a woman in a traditional Navari saree, and a man in a kurta and dhoti

They held signs that said, “Pigeons are Mumbaikars too, please be kind to us”

Their aim was to send a message to the public and the government that pigeons are also part of the city and deserve kindness and care
